John Joseph Corry, 64, of Poughkeepsie, passed away on June 4, 2024 at home surrounded by his family. He was born on April 7, 1960 in Queens, NY to the late John and Cathleen Corry.

John graduated from Archbishop Molloy High School in 1978. He received his master's degree from the NY Institute of Technology in 1982 and went to work at IBM in Poughkeepsie as an Advisory Quality Assurance Tester, until his passing.

He married Lisé Marie Szymanski on September 24, 1994. Together they raised two children.

John is survived by his wife, Lisé; daughter, Catherine (Katie) and her partner, Chase; son, John and his fiancé, Valerie; two brothers, Kevin and Brian and his wife, Jeannie; and his furry friend, Midnight. He will always be loved and missed dearly.

Visitation will be held on Monday, June 10, 2024 from 4 to 7 PM at Parmele, Auchmoody & Schoonmaker Funeral Home, 110 Fulton Ave., Poughkeepsie, NY 12603. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, June 11, 2024 at 10:45 AM from St. Martin de Porres Church, 118 Cedar Valley Rd., Poughkeepsie, NY 12603. Burial will follow in St, Peter's Cemetery, 171 Salt Point Turnpike, Poughkeepsie, NY 12603.
