Janice A. Daly, 63 of Wappingers Falls, passed away on Monday, August 8,2016 at Kaplan Family Hospice Residence in Newburgh,NY.

Born in The Bronx,NY on April 25,1953, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Josephine Gentile Piteo. Janice was employed as a dental assistant at Greenhaven Prison.

She enjoyed shopping, spending time with her friends and dining out at local restaurants.

Janice is survived by her 2 daughters, Marissa Bennett and her husband Rashard of Wappingers Falls and Tara Daly of Wappingers Falls; her beloved grandchildren, Preston and Parker Bennett of Wappingers Falls; her brother, Joseph Piteo; nephews, Gregory and Steven Piteo and niece, Lenna Piteo.

Visitation we be Thursday, August 11 from 2-4 and 6-9 pm at Robert H. Auchmoody Funeral Home, 1028 Main St., Fishkill. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Friday, August 12 at 10 am from St. Mary, Mother of the Church, 106 Jackson St., Fishkill. Interment will follow in Fishkill Rural Cemetery.
