Janet Marie Laurenzano of Wappingers Falls, passed away suddenly on May 16, 2016 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center surrounded by those who loved her.  She was 37 years old.

Born on August 24, 1978 in Yonkers to Linda Guardino Taffner  and the late Clifford Taffner.

Janet grew up in Putnam Valley and graduated from Walter Panas High School in 1996 and went on to earn her BSN from Hartwick College in 2000.  After graduation she worked as a Registered Nurse for Westchester Medical Center and most recently at NYP Hudson Valley Hospital.

On May 29, 2004 at St. Columba Church She married Anthony Laurenzano.

Janet is survived by her devoted husband Anthony, Loving Children Briana, Anthony and Ashley, Loving Mother Linda Taffner, Dear Siblings, Matthew Taffner and his wife Andrea, Beth Mazzola and her husband John, Ronald Taffner, and Christopher Taffner.  Loving Nieces  and Nephews Tristan, Lucas, Ryan, Emma and Savannah. Mother in Law Teresa Chilbert, Maternal grandparents Anthony and Angela Guardino and aunts, uncles and cousins.

Friends may call on Thursday May 19, 2016 from 2-4 & 7-9pm at Robert H. Auchmoody Funeral Home, 1028 Main Street, Fishkill.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday May 20, 2016 at 10am at Church of St. Martin de Porres, 118 Cedar Valley Road, Poughkeepsie.  FRIENDS ARE ASKED TO MEET THE FAMILY AT CHURCH FRIDAY MORNING.  Interment will follow at St. Denis Cemetery, Hopewell Junction.
