Gwendolyn R. Stevens Franciosa, of Poughkeepsie and formerly of Yorktown, passed away on February 8, 2021.  She was preceded by her husband, Lawrence Franciosa who passed on April 5, 2011.  In a subtle tribute to Lawrence, Gwen joined him in peace on what would have been his 92 ^nd birthday.
Gwen was our beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.  Gwen was born July 2, 1934 in Latonia, KY but spent most of her years in NY state.  Gwen grew and managed an export agency, working through 2020 in her 86 ^th year.
Gwen enjoyed her family as evidenced in the many photos she displayed around her home.  She is survived by her son Blaise; her daughter Michelle, and her husband David Myers; her granddaughter Nicole (Franciosa) and her husband Cory Blan; her grandson Andrew and his wife Nicole; her granddaughters Alexandra and Emily Myers; and her great-grandson, Dylan Blan.
Memorial donations in Gwen's memory can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital www.stjude.org which held a special place in Gwen's heart.
There are no visiting hours.  Burial will be private.  Arrangements are under the direction of Parmele, Auchmoody and Schoonmaker Funeral Home in Poughkeepsie, NY.
