Gloria S. Ciferri, 95 of Millbrook,  passed away on Tuesday,October 11, 2016 at Sharon Hospital after a brief illness.
Born in Poughkeepsie,NY on September 25, 1921, she was the daughter of Joseph and Lucy Setaro. On April 30, 1944 at St. Joseph's Church, Millbrook, Gloria married A. Edward Ciferri. Mr. Ciferri predeceased her on January 24, 1974.
Gloria was employed at Bennett College in Millbrook as head switchboard operator for many years and following her retirement from the college she worked as switchboard operator at Vassar College.
Gloria is survived by her 2 children; Judith Duncan of Dover Plains and Gary Ciferri of Millbrook; her 5 grandchildren, Scott Ciferri, Jenna Ciferri Jenkins, Lisa Duncan- Parent, Robert Duncan and Kimberly Duncan; and 9 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be Friday, October 14 from 4-7 pm at Allen Funeral Home, 3270 Franklin Ave., Millbrook. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, October 15 at 10 am from St. Joseph's Church, North Ave., Millbrook. Interment will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Millbrook.
