Gilbert Lee Baright passed away on Thursday, August 27 while enjoying his favorite pastime, working in his yard. Gilbert was born on January 27, 1940 to the later Clifford and Florence Adams Baright.

He attended Arlington Schools (1958) and SUNY Cobleskill prior to joining the US Army. Gil worked in sales and management at Mid-Hudson Chevrolet. He later became partner and owner of Town and Country Motors.

Gil married Beverly Cookingham in Smithfield, NY on August 8, 1965. They have three children Kimberly (Jimmy) Welton, Kara Winum and Timothy Jon. Gilbert is also survived by seven grandchildren Dean, Dylan, Jed, Aubrey, Jackson, Nicki and Aubrey. Gilbert is also survived by four great grandchildren Willa, Harland, Bennett and Bevan. In addition, he is survived by his sister Adelaide Hamilton and Richard Baright (Carleen). He was predeceased by his son-in-law Nick Winum and brother-in-law Jay Hamilton.

Graveside services by will at Stanfordville Cemetery on Saturday, September 14 at 11am.
