Gerald P. Adams, Jr. "Jerry" , 74, of Verbank , died peacefully but unexpectedly on Monday, December 30, 2019 at Vassar Brothers Hospital. Born on August 24, 1945 in Beacon he was the son of the late Gerald and Louise Agnes (Harrison) Adams.

Jerry was retired from IBM and the Village of Fishkill Police. He enjoyed fishing and was an avid NY Giants fan.

Jerry will be missed by his loving blended family. Survivors include; his wife, Annette; daughters, Dawn (Frank) Smith, and Jennifer Flynn ; son, Jerry ( Arinda ) Adams; stepchildren, Debbie (Brendan) Guernsey, and Jimi (Justine) Flynn, ; sisters Diane ( Thomas ) Long, and Sandy (Paul) Annetts ; grandchildren, Brett Cherubini, Ian Jansen, Ryan Guernsey, Ariana Adams and Grace Flynn ; great grandchildren, Elijah Cherubini, Nathan and Isabel la Jansen; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

As per Jerrys' wishes, cremation has taken place.

"You can shed tears that he is gone, or you can smile because he has lived. Your heart can be empty because you can't see him or it can be full of the love you shared."
