Frank Portera, 43 of Poughkeepsie, died at Vassar Brothers Medical Center on Saturday, March 14, 2026.
He was a loving husband to Maria (Rodriguez) and a doting father to Luna Grace Portera and Alex Caceres Rodriguez. Frankie was a devoted son to Kathy Sinatra (Hyde Park) and Frank Portera (Merrick NY), stepson to Andrew Sinatra and Mary Ann Portera, beloved brother to Steven Portera (Regina) Freehold NJ; Andrew Sinatra (Melissa) Glen Head, NY ; Jessica Sinatra, Austin TX;  Andrea Serie, Merrick NY;
nieces Layla and Addison, nephew Tyce.
Frank is predeceased by his brother William M Portera(Billy); Maternal grandparents Doris and William Healy; Paternal grandparents Mary and Lucio Portera
Frank was born in Staten Island NY and attended Tottenville High School. Frank began his career as a plumber and eventually opened his own business: Sinatra Construction; providing high quality general construction in the Hudson Valley.  Frank was previously a volunteer firefighter with the Roosevelt Fire Department in Hyde Park.
Frank was a kind and generous soul; known as 'happy go lucky" to many friends and customers. "Frankie Fix it" was always willing to help a friend or competitor. He will leave an enormous void in the lives of his family and friends.
