On March 24th, surrounded by her loving family, Elissa (Terri) Ghee entered into eternal life.Born October 31st, 1933, in Bronx, NY, Terri was the daughter of Walburga Kimpfler and Joseph Tucciarone. She moved to Dutchess County in 1951, marrying Charles Borchers in 1953, and having three children, Travis Rink (Elaine), Laurie Colgan, and Terri Ferris. On October 21st, 1978, Terri married Robert Ghee, who predeceased her in 2020.
Terri and Bob were the owners of The Doll House in Poughkeepsie and later the Village Gallery & Frame Shop in Pleasant Valley.

Terri loved gardening, quilting and bird watching. She was also an avid reader and talented artist. She was a co-founder of the Bulls & Bears Investment Club, and member of the Pleasant Valley Historical Society and St. Paul's Episcopal Church.

In addition to her children, Terri is survived by her six grandchildren, Carrie Ann Ewing (Jim), Ryan Ferris, Elissa Colgan, Zachary Ferris (Julia), John Colgan, and Tess Manning; and her three great-granddaughters, Jocelynn, Margot, and Ava Rae. She was also predeceased by her best friend and sister, Ann Mulaney, and her brother Adolph (Sonny) Tucciarone.

Calling hours will be Thursday, March 30th, from 4-7 PM at Allen Funeral Home, 1605 Main Street, Pleasant Valley.
