Edward T. Greevy, 76, of Wappingers, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 18, 2017 at Mid Hudson Regional Hospital in Poughkeepsie. He was born on February 25, 1940 in Manhattan to the late Thomas and Sarah Morley Greevy.

Ed was a resident of Wappingers for 37 years. He was previously from Queens and the Bronx. He owned and operated The Village Videot in Holmes, NY for many years. He was a doting husband, loving father and caring friend. He enjoyed spending time with his family and watching his favorite NY sports teams. He was a lifelong Giants, Yankees and Rangers fan. He could make anyone laugh with his sense of humor and wit. He will be greatly missed.

Ed is survived by his four children; Thomas Greevy, Robert and his Spouse Donna Church, Donna and her spouse Geoffrey Cramer and Catherine and her  spouse Robert Monteiro. Sister; Jean Dunne. Thirteen grandchildren; Adam, Connor and Jonathan Bixby, Corey Greevy, Chelsea, Joshua, Zachary and Jacob Cramer, Nicholas, Andrew, Matthew and Jackson Monteiro and John Rodgers and five great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife Christina A. Greevy in 2006 and his daughter Jennifer Bixby in 2016.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 21, 2017 from 4 to 7 pm at Robert H. Auchmoody Funeral Homes, Inc., 900 Rt., 82, Hopewell Jct., NY 12533. Funeral services will be held at 6:30 pm.
