Joseph Douglas Quesenberry, known by most as Douglas, 60, of Millbrook passed away unexpectedly on September 6, 2016 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center in Poughkeepsie. He was born on January 24, 1956 in Richmond, Virginia to the late Joe B. Quesenberry Jr, and Ann Roberson Quesenberry Hagen, who resides in Richmond, Va.

Doug was born and raised in Virginia, he attended Manchester High School. After high school he went on to attend and graduate from both Old Dominion University, and Columbia University. He lived in Manhattan and was the owner of J. Douglas Management Services . Doug and his companion Rod Saclolo MD, both cooperatively owned and operated New York Wellness and Medi Spa, in Manhattan, and Millbrook.

In addition to his companion and mother, he is survived by his Sister JoAnn Q. Davis of Kitty Hawk, NC, a brother Steven G. Quesenberry and his partner Shawn Atencio, of San Rafael, California. His aunt Sylvia Galloway of Richmond, VA. Also many aunts, uncles, cousins, and many special friends. Doug loved his animals and supported rescue dogs.  He is survived by his babies; Tyler, Elle,  Daisy, Logi and Monkey.

Visitation for family and friends will be Saturday, September 10, 2016, from 4:00 to 7:00 pm at the Allen Funeral Home, 3270 Franklin Avenue, Millbrook, New York 12545. A funeral service will be held on Sunday, September 11, 2016 at 1:00 at the funeral home. Interment will take place privately.
