Dorathea Matwichuk, 95 of Brewster and formerly of Pleasant Valley, passed away on Monday, November 9,2020 at Putnam Ridge in Brewster.
Born in New York, NY on January 18, 1925, she was the daughter of Charles and Regina Reese Colville.
On October 29, 1947, Dorathea married Walter H. Matwichuk. Mr. Matwichuk predeceased her on August 4, 2002.
Dorathea is survived by her daughters, Dorathea Rottkamp of Riner, VA and Barbara C. Lyons of Maitland, FL; her son Walter T. Matwichuk and daughter in law Viviana of Patterson, NY; her grandson Kyle J. Rottkamp and his wife Joy; and 3 great grandchildren, Alexander Rottkamp, Emma Rottkamp and Hazel Rottkamp of Salem, VA.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 11 from 3 – 7 pm at Allen Funeral Home, 1605 Main St., Pleasant Valley. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Thursday, November 12 at 10 am from St. Stanislaus Church, 1590 Main St. Pleasant Valley. Interment will follow in Holy Rood Cemetery, Westbury, NY.
