Diana Weibrecht, 68 passed away peacefully in her sleep March 1, 2017. Anyone who knew Diana, knew she was an Angel, with that God called upon her to return.

Diana was born on August 3, 1948 in Bronx, NY to the late Vincent and Freida Ricciardi. She married the love of her life George Weibrecht Sr. in Carmel, NY on May 27, 1973. She worked passionately in the Office for the Aging of Dutchess County, a job that she truly loved because of the people that she was helping. She spent her free time knitting, and spending time with her family, especially her six grandsons, with one on the way.

She is survived by her children Nicole Vegeto and her husband Mathew, Danielle Hughes and her husband James, George Weibrecht Jr., and his wife Diana. Six cherished grandchildren Troy, Devin, Gianni, Nicholas, Braydin and Malaki. Her four siblings Steven Ricciardi, Vincent Ricciardi, Darlene Wetzelberger, and Renee Ricciardi , and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins.

Friends may call on Monday, March 6, 2017 from 2-4 & 7-9pm at Robert H. Auchmoody Funeral Home 1028 Main St, Fishkill. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday March 7, 2017 at 10am at St. Mary, Mother of the Church, Fishkill. Entombment will follow at Fishkill Rural Cemetery.
