Daniel A.
Dangerfield
Dec 25, 1997 — May 31, 2016
Daniel A. Dangerfield, 18, of Pleasant Valley passed away on May 31, 2016. He was killed when his car struck a utility pole on Freedom Road in the Town of LaGrange.
Dan was an amazing guy. He loved his two little brothers, Dean (8) and Crosby (4) Hendrickson to no end. As well as his little sister, Amber Dangerfield. He was a genuine and generous soul. He had a kind heart and sweetness with his siblings that brought them so much happiness. There was a charm about Dan that could get him out of most situations and a quick wit that could be counted on. Often found wiping away his tears of laughter, Danny will be remembered.
He was a confident and strong soul who loved doing his own thing and was not particularly concerned by what others thought. He understood life better than most and lived accordingly. Dan loved snowboarding, camping, jumping off cliffs, hiking, kayaking, riding dirt bikes and enjoying time spent with his wonderful friends. Danny lived a blessed life with adoring family and friends filling up each day.
Dan is survived by his loving parents Krista and David Hendrickson and his dad, Dan Dangerfield. His maternal grandparents, Richard and Karen Haight. His paternal grandparents, David and Marjorie Dangerfield. His adoring aunts and uncles; Dan and Cheri Scharff, David and Melissa Dangerfield, Timothy and Lauren Hendrickson, and Edward and Sandra O'Flaherty. Dan leaves behind his beautiful girls; Cassie and Tori Scharff, who were truly sisters to him. As well as his cousins, Grace and Dave Dangerfield and SGT Nick Becker.
Dan is also survived by his best friend, Sean McHugh and his loving family; "Aunt Jen," "Uncle Tom," "Uncle Frank," Tommy, and Kevin who were all truly family to Danny.
He was predeceased by his buddy, Marine Corps. Captain Trevor Yurista.
