Courtney Anne Elder, 47 of Pleasant Valley, passed away on Saturday, July 22, 2017 following a short illness. Born in Buffalo,NY on October 21, 1969, she was the daughter of Dennis and Faye Cuming Petti.

Courtney was a graduate of Roy C. Ketchum High School, Class of 1987. She was employed as a veterinary tech at Animal Hospital - Wappingers Falls. On April 13, 2003 in Hopewell Junction, Courtney married Craig Elder. Craig survives at home in Pleasant Valley.

In addition to her husband Craig, she is survived by her mother, Faye Petti and her companion Dominic Luongo of Wappingers Falls; her step-children, Robyn Elder Funk of Highland, Allison Elder of Clinton Corners and Daniel Elder of Pleasant Valley; her brother, Jeremy Petti of Colorado; her loving grandchild, Lucas Lloyd Funk of Highland and her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Margaret and Gerald Miracle of Pleasant Valley. Courtney was predeceased by her father, Dennis Petti.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 30 from 4-7 pm at Allen Funeral Home, 1605 Main St., Pleasant Valley. Funeral services will be held during the visitation at 5:30 pm. Interment will be private in Wappingers Rural Cemetery.
