Claude F. Loos Jr. of Fishkill formerly of the Bronx, Lynbrook, Massapequa and Amityville passed away peacefully on August 3, 2015 at home. He was 86. Born on September 4, 1928 in The Bronx, to the late Claude F. and Regina Potucek Loos. Claude was a boating enthusiast. He was a member of the Coast Guard Auxiliary and the past commander of Captree Power Squadron on Long Island. He was also a member of St. David's Lutheran Church in Massapequa Park, NY. In 1953 he married Dorothea Jackson at Bethel Baptist Church. Claude is survived by his devoted wife of 62 years Dorothea Loos, Loving Children Edythe Broscheit and her husband Peter, Stephen Loos and his wife Patricia and Jonathan Loos and his wife Donna. Cherished Grandchildren John, Donald, Stephen, Samantha, Thomas, Patrick, Christopher and Brendan. Great Grandchildren Sailor and Finley. Friends may call on Wednesday August 5, 2015 from 2-4 & 7-9pm at Robert H. Auchmoody Funeral Home 1028 Main St, Fishkill. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday August 6, 2015 at 10:30am at Bethel Baptist Church of Shenandoah, 511 Shenandoah Road, Hopewell Junction.
