Charlotte E. Feringa, 91 of Poughkeepsie, passed away on Friday, January 29, 2016 at Northern Dutchess Hospital in Rhinebeck.

Born in Buffalo,NY on June 1, 1924, she was the daughter of Harry and Stella Koblinski Churchill. Her husband, Gilbert Feringa predeceased her in 1976.

Charlotte is survived by her daughters, Patricia Mittelstaedt and her husband Charles of Salt Point and Constance Pendergast and her husband Charles of Staatsburgh; her sons, Charles Feringa and his wife Barbara of Poughkeepsie and Larry Feringa and his wife Linda of Plattekill; her sister, Mary Kay Snell of Hyde Park; 16 grandchildren; and several great and great- great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her son Gilbert William Feringa; her sister, Harriett McKee and brother William Churchill.

Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, February 2 at 1 pm in Union Cemetery, Hyde Park.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Allen Funeral Home, 1605 Main St., Pleasant Valley.
