Charles G. Sengenberger, 73, a lifelong Hopewell Jct., resident passed away peacefully on Monday, March 13, 2017 at Vassar Brothers Hospital. He was born on March 23, 1943 to the late Oakley and Catherine Scofield.

He worked for many years as a research technician for Texaco in Beacon, NY before his retirement.

Charles served in the U.S. Navy from 1964 to 1968.

He married Janice A. Komornik on April 4, 1970.  Mrs. Sengenberger survives at home.

He enjoyed going to the Casinos in Atlantic City and watching baseball.

Charles is survived by his wife, Janice, son, Charles J. and his wife, Meghan Sengenberger, three grandchildren, Aidan, Cameron and Brook, sister, Janice and her husband, David Badgley and nephew, Steven Badgley. He was predeceased by his brother, Ronald.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 18, 2017 from 12 -2 PM, at Robert H. Auchmoody Funeral Homes, Inc., 900 Rt. 82, Hopewell Jct., NY 12533. Interment will be private.
