Charles T Popoli, 90, passed away peacefully at home under the care of Hudson Valley Hospice on Monday September 8, 2025. He was born on December 13, 1934 in Yonkers, New York to parents Adam and Philomena Popoli (both deceased). He graduated from Commerce High School Class of 1952. He served with the US Army in Korea from 1954-1955 and then in the Reserves from 1955-1962. In 1966 he began workin at the New York State Police in Hawthorne NY as a Communications Specialist and moved to the new headquarters at SP Poughkeepsie in Millbrook NY until his retirement in 1990. He met is wife Pamela at work and they were married on September 12, 1976 at the Reformed Church in Livingston NY and made their home in Millbrook. He is survived by his wife Pamela after 49 years of marriage, his step-daughter Lori Knowles (Mark) of Brewster, NY and brother Adam of Pennsylvania, nieces Rosemary Leone (Dan),of Princeton NJ,  Suzanne Hofbauer of Flanders NJ, Michelle Friedel of Ossining, NY, sister-in-law Grace Popoli of Ossining NY, nephew Marc Cruder of Edgewater MD, and niece Noelle (Nick) of Maryland.  His sister Viola Cruder and brother William Popoli, predeceased him.

Calling hour will be on Friday September 12, 2025 at Allen Funeral Home, Franklin Avenue, Millbrook, NY from 10am-12noon.with funeral services same day at 1:30pm at the Rhinebeck Reformed Church, 6368 Milll Street, Rhinebeck with reception following the service.  Interment will be at the convenience of the immediate family.
