Carolyne L. Spagnola, died peacefully surrounded by her family on Tuesday, May 13, 2025. She was born on March 11, 1943, in Brattleboro, Vermont to Vernon and Elizabeth Ladeau. In 1951 her family moved from Shelburne, Vermont to Greer School Hope Farm where she attended until graduating in 1961. After graduating she went to work at George T. Whalen Insurance and then Cardinal Hayes Home for Children. In 1968 she married her beloved husband, Louis. Together they owned Spagnola's Plumbing and Heating where Carol worked until her passing.

She was very artistic and loved to paint and attend craft classes with her friends. Her paintings are shared by family members.  You could catch her playing tennis almost any day of the week. She enjoyed girls' weekends in the summer in Bennington, Vermont, which included shopping, dining out, and visiting relatives. She always looked forward to taking her annual girls' trip to the Outer Banks. Carol loved spoiling her granddaughters. When they were growing up, there were weekend shopping trips to the mall, along with Carol's sister, that always ended with a lunch out at Bugaboo Creek.

Carol is survived by her children Louis Spagnola, III, and wife Lora; daughter Christina Tellerday, and her husband Bob, her favorite granddaughters, Hailee Pezze and Taylor Spagnola, her sister, Veronica Lilley, and many nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian burial will be offered on Monday, May 19th at 11:00am at St. Joseph's Church, 15 North Ave, Millbrook. Interment will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Millbrook. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Joseph's Church, PO Box 439, Millbrook, NY 12545 or to St. Jude's.
