Bryan K. Truex, 53 of Pleasant Valley, passed away on July 11, 2026. He was born in Poughkeepsie, NY on July 19, 1972 to the late Marshall M. Truex, Jr. and Permelia (Abrahamsen)

Bryan was employed for 29 years as a civil engineer for Peckham Industries. Bryan enjoyed many hobbies including biking, hiking, camping and wood carvings.

In addition to his mother, Bryan is survived by his two brothers Marshall M. Truex III and his wife Kathleen of Pleasant Valley. Einar Truex and his wife Deborah of Tennessee. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held from 10 am to 12 pm on Saturday, July 18, 2026 at Allen Funeral Home, 1605 Main St., Pleasant Valley, NY 12569. A funeral service will start at 12 pm. Interment will follow at the family plot in Crum Elbow Cemetery.
