It is with great sadness that Bryan Lindsley Platt passed away unexpectedly on Monday, May 08, 2023 after a short illness at Sarasota Memorial Hospital in Florida. Bryan was born on October 15, 1968 in Poughkeepsie NY. Bryan is survived by his mother Judith her husband Daniel O'Connor of Millbrook NY and his father Gerald and his wife Jill Platt of East Fishkill NY.
He's also survived by his sister Deborah her husband James Caul of Salt Point NY, half-brothers Jason of Franklin, Tennessee, Kevin of Poughkeepsie NY and Steven of Fishkill, NY. Bryan has two sons Joshua and Justin both of Bradenton Florida. He has many aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews.
Bryan had a passion for NASCAR and would spend countless hours watching NASCAR racing and knew many of the drivers' names and their records. He would call to discuss a particular race just to test if you were watching and always wanted to know your favorite driver of the day. Always a Chevy fan. Bryan also loved taking pictures of sun rises and sunsets he would often share those pictures with family.Burial arrangements will be at the convenience of the family. Arrangements have been entrusted to Allen Funeral Home, Millbrook.
