Bernice Patterson of Monroe passed away peacefully on April 20, 2016 in Newburgh.  She was 88.

Born August 2, 1927 in Youngstown, Ohio to the late Clayton and Mary Jackson Rose.

Bernice is survived by her devoted husband James Patterson,  Loving  Children Daniel Hayes Hammond and Ronald Martin Hammond,, Loving Grandchildren Diana Hammond, Ron Hammond, JoHanna Schmid and Kevin Hammond.  7 Great Grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.  Bernice is also survived by several nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by her 3 sisters.

Graveside service will be held on Friday April 22, 2016 at 2:30pm at Fishkill Rural Cemetery, Fishkill, NY.
