Barbara West Green of Wappingers Falls passed away suddenly on January 11, 2016.  She was 72.

Born on December 26, 1943 in South Jamaica, Queens to the late George and Margaret Darby.

Barbara was a retired Licensed Social Worker for the Dutchess County Department of Social Services.  She held a Bachelors and a Masters Degree from Mount St. Mary's College.

She is survived by her Children Jafar Al-Kazim and his wife Valerie of Brooklyn, and Ernest West and his wife Carmen.  Her Grandchildren Derrick West Jr, Erika West, Justin, Matthew, Daniaah and Christina West, Derrick West III, and Derrick West IV, Hilaya Greene, and RaQuana VanDuzen.  She is also survived by her sister Patricia Hill of Poughkeepsie.

She was predeceased by her Children Derrick West Jr, and Jason Greene, along with her former husband Otis Greene on Christmas 2015.

Visitation will be at Majestic Funeral Service  189-06 Liberty Ave, Hollis, New York on Friday January 22, 2016 from 1-3pm.  Kindly Omit Flowers and make donations to a charity of your choice.
