Barbara Susan Bush, 71, of Verbank, NY, passed away on Saturday, April 3, 2021, after a brief illness. She was born in Providence, RI.  She was the daughter of Robert S. Bush of Bristol, RI and the late Mary Frances (Brown) Bush.  She is survived by her sister, Kathy Marabello (Ronnie) of Warren, RI, her niece, Laura Millar (Tim) of Lake Worth, FL, her nephew, Ronnie Marabello (Melissa) of Catawba, NC and her two great nieces, Liliana Marabello and Stella Millar.  She is also survived by her loving companion of over 37 years, Gerald Maggiacomo of Millbrook, NY.

Barbara graduated from Bristol High School and The University of Connecticut.  She was employed as a physical therapist for the Rehabilitative School and Clinic in Poughkeepsie, NY until her retirement.
Barbara was an avid 'foodie' and a phenomenal cook and baker.  She was an accomplished seamstress who made all types of clothing as well as beautiful crafts that she gave as gifts and sold at local fairs and on consignment.  Barbara loved animals, especially her bunnies and cats.  She also enjoyed playing and watching tennis.

Arrangements are with Allen Funeral Home, 3270 Franklin Avenue, Millbrook, NY.  A visitation for family and friends will take place on Saturday, May 1 ^st from 11am – 1pm.  Interment will be in the Nine Partners Burial Ground in Millbrook, NY.
