Audrey S. Johnson, 92, a lifelong resident of Pleasant Valley, NY passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 20, 2023.  Born on June 25, 1931 in Poughkeepsie to the late Kenneth and Marguerite (Kimlin) Sherow. She graduated Arlington high School, class of 1949. She worked at Western Publishing where she met the love of her life and on September 14, 1952 she married the late Harry E. Johnson.
Audrey was a selfless mother, grandmother and friend. She loved her family, friends and animals. She enjoyed cooking, baking, entertaining and planning family vacations to Rhode Island, Maine and Martha's Vineyard. She was active in the Pleasant Valley Health Committee and Study Club. She and Harry also enjoyed many good times with their dance group.

Audrey is survived by her daughters, Jill Johnson and Kay Denison and her husband, Peter; grandson Troy Denison and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Harry on July 1, 1995.

Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, July 25, 2023 from Pleasant Valley Cemetery at 11AM.
