Anne Poelzl, 89 of LaGrangeville, passed away on Sunday, October 8, 2017 at Lutheran Care Center. Born in New York,NY on February 12, 1928, she was the daughter of Richard and Fanny Mayer Neumayer. On May 20, 1950 in Queens,NY, Anne married Albert Poelzl. Mr. Poelzl survives at home. Anne was employed at Union Carbide in Manhattan for many years and retired as a Legal Secretary at Union Carbide's office in Danbury,CT.

Anne loved to knit, bake, read and was a wonderful mother and grandmother. In addition to her husband Albert she is survived by her two daughters; Linda Poelzl and Barbara Poelzl Frey and her husband Jerry Frey; and her grandchildren, Amanda Frey, Chris Frey and Lisa Frey. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Memorial donations may be made in Anne's memory to the Alzheimer's Association, 2 Jefferson Plaza, Poughkeepsie,NY 12601. Arrangements have been entrusted to Allen Funeral Home, Millbrook.
