Aimee
Brower
Nov 17, 1968 — Jan 19, 2022
Pleasant Valley
Aimee Brower, 53 of Pleasant Valley New York, died peacefully with her family by her side in the early hours of January 19
th
after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born November 17
th
, 1968, in Eugene Oregon, the daughter of George Settera and Maureen Murphy and was raised up and down the pacific coast with her sister Jill. Wherever she went light, and happiness followed.
Aimee had many adventures throughout her life, from studying in Spain to selling crabs on the docks of San Francisco but her greatest accomplishment was the family she built. After a chance meeting in the bushes of Golden Gate Park, she and Jeff were inseparable and married on September 27, 2003. From there Aimee never looked back and was the anchor for her husband, daughter, and son. She will be forever loved and missed.
Aimee is survived by her husband Jefferey Brower, her daughter Isabella Maureen Brower, her son Nolan George Brower, Father George Settera, Sisters Jill, Jan, Karen, and Debby. And Her East Coast Family, Joyce Brower, and the extended Brower and Purdy relations. She is predeceased by her mother Maureen Murphy, her stepmother Dolores Settera, her father-in-law George Brower, and her stepbrother Bob. All of whom loved her dearly.
She was a caring loving soul who never hesitated to help anyone. And the light in everyone's life that she touched is a little dimmer with her gone. The family will grieve privately now and plan a celebration of life for Spring which was Aimee's favorite season.
In lieu of flowers please make donations to St Baldricks.
www.stbaldricks.org
which was Aimee's favorite charity and a loving memory for us when she shaved her head in solidarity for a friend undergoing Chemo and to raise awareness for children's cancer.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Allen Funeral Home, Pleasant Valley.
